We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to work for a company on Birmingham Business Park.
You will have a minimum of 2 years credit control experience. Job Content: 1. Account reconciliation 2. Cash allocation 3. Sorting of daily incoming post 4. Liasing with Customer services and external customers to resolve queries 5. Chasing of debt via telephone, letter and e-mail. 6. Preparing accounts for legal action when necessary 7. Placing accounts on stop / taking accounts off stop at the appropriate times 8. Dealing with a large quantity of incoming telephone calls 9. Providing assistance to other team members and the credit control supervisor when necessary 10. Releasing accounts from credit hold. 11. Informing Credit Control Supervisor of various problems that may need to be escalated. 12. Query resolution. 13. Create new accounts 14. Review of aged debt to minimise outstanding balances.
